The small village Korgen is located close to E6 between Mosjøen and the arctic circle city of Mo i Rana.

From Mo i Rana you may also drive E12, "Blå Vägen," to Sweden. This road runs from Nesna at the west coast of Norway to Umeå at the east coast of Sweden.

If you want to see more of the inland and get close to the wilderness, you may drive "Villmarksveien" which runs parallell to E6 from Majavatn in south to Korgen in North. It is a very nice alternative to the E6 if you have some extra time. The road does not keep the same standard as E6, but it is no problem to drive this road with both caravan and mobile homes. From Hattfjelldal, a small village by Villmarksveien, you do also have the possibiliy to drive over the border to Sweden.
